Birthday Bonanza
Posted in: Uncategorized by Bob Gregor on August 20, 2008
Well second day of shooting, and we have edited the script. Let us give you a little teaser; The year was 1987, As a designer and home builder, I was climbing the ladder of success when the stock market crashed. I found myself standing in an empty living room with my young family and we listened to the auctioning of our home, It was in that moment that I awoke to the truth of the American Dream. What we all bought into was a lie. I stand here today to speak the truth.
We also had the components of Robert’s computer come in. They arrived 2 hours late just as we were piled into the car en-route to Michael’s Birthday Chicken Dinner. Scroll down to see images of the celebration and of the Fed Ex man’s arrival.
Tomorrow we look to move the footage from a external hard drive to Bobs beast of a computer. We will then take the finalized script which is being edited in Florida as you read and begin the process of post production.
I must leave you now, to have a cosmopolitan and celebrate my birthday…
Keep tuned in
Computer Mayhem

Hello! Bob here,
We are moving into day one of post production and the computer hits a speed bump.
My computer is a editing and 3d modeling rig - as such it requires adequate cooling of it’s 4 processing cores. I use liquid cooling and an old car radiator to cool my CPU. The only problem with liquid cooling inside a PC is when it leaks. We had a leak, but fortunately the coolant is non-conductive and did not fry any of the sensitive electronics. I am in the process of replacing a cracked CPU water block, and a leaky reservoir. Once replaced we should be back up an running - and over clocked to 3.2 GHz. The FedEx overnight express should be here by 4:30… fingers crossed!
Do ask me questions about this process and my Rig.. I love to talk about the technical aspects.
Hello, I am Carol Gregor, and I am inviting you into my home to be a part of the creation of a documentary film. Sit back and meet my team of designers, directors, producers, and artists. Some are here on site now, and others have sent their work in from across the world.
The documentary currently titled “The Lost Language of Architecture” is undergoing phase two of production. The first release a year ago inspired a host of intuitive, intellectual, and inspirational individuals to donate their time and voice to the project. LLOA is poised to release a new short with the goal or raising funds for a feature film.
The Lost Language of Architecture addresses a very real and very serious American problem. Critical to our individual health and the well-being of this planet we share, the problem is our once prized American Dream. This so-called “dream” has, for all intents and purposes, become a nightmare. A nightmare that we desperately need to awaken from.
Join with us as we cut, paste and continue! Rediscover with us, the sacred from the past which will reconnect us to the planet we love .
